Day Training

WEEKDAYS 8:00AM TO 7:00PM
DROP OFF BETWEEN 8:00-10:00AM, PICK UP BETWEEN 5:00-7:00PM (If you have special needs regarding timing, please let us know)
--All pups must be up-to-date on vaccines against rabies, distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvo and bordetella. Parents must provide current certificates and vaccination records. Parents can ask their vets to email us these records at info@thedoginstitute.com.
-- All pups must arrive with a collar and name tag, and the appropriate TDI approved harness and leash.
--All homemade food brought to the institute must be stored in an airtight container or plastic ziplock bag.
--Signing up for Day Training in advance is required.
--In order to begin our Day Training program, pups be 7 months and under as well as have completed at least one Private Lesson or be enrolled in our Baby Puppy Club Class or Teen Puppy Club Class.
--In order to be eligible to continue attending our Day Training program, pups must continue their training with us until they have completed both Baby Puppy Club Class and Teen Puppy Club Class or the equivalent in Private Lessons. In some cases, pups may be required to stay enrolled in training if necessary.
--All pups 7-8 months and older must be spayed or neutered in order to continue participation in our Day Training program.
--Your pup will be walked individually with personalized attention and training throughout the day.
--Our certified trainer and assistants will teach and maintain general manners.
--Each session includes playtime with other appropriately-matched pups.
--Your pup will also learn how to settle and be comfortable by himself or herself.
--Pups take a three-hour nap from 1:00 to 4:00PM each day. During this nap, there will be no staff at the institute. We do this intentionally so pups can experience being in the crate when humans are not present. During this time, we will monitor all pups on our camera system.
--All pups will have a school lunch.
--We send daily media updates (photos and videos) to parents.
